Research guides by subject, as well as general topics such as getting started finding information on a topic, constructing an effective search strategy, choosing appropriate sources, evaluating information, and more.
Subject specialist librarians consult with course instructors to plan library sessions tailored to students' projects in a particular course. Faculty have found that students are able to think more critically about the sources they use and select better sources when they have participated in a library session. The result is an overall improvement in the quality of student work.
Librarians at Eisenhower Library are subject specialists and are available for research consultations with JHU students, faculty and staff. In whatever field you study, do research, or teach, you have a librarian.
