Personal Laptops

Within the library, members of the JH community who are registered in JHED can connect their laptops to the Internet via the University's "hopkins" network connections. Both wired and wireless connections are available. Check these pages for more details on how to use the wired or wireless network while in the library. Please note: printing to the Libraries' public printers from your personal laptop is now available. Please visit Remote and Wireless Printing for more information and configuration instructions.

Wireless users will need to configure their laptops with the appropriate SSID and WEP key. You will need to obtain printed instructions for the SSID and WEP key from the MSE Library Infodesk on M-Level of the Eisenhower Library, or you may download the instructions as PDF documents from the Wireless @ JHU website.
