Provides information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses from over 1,000 graduate schools and universities.Approximately 47,000 new dissertations and 12,000 new theses are added to the database each year. Citations fordissertations published since 1980 also include 350-word abstracts written by the author.Citations for master's theses since 1988 include 150-word abstracts. The full text of more than one million of these titles isavailable for purchase from Proquestin paper and microform formats.
The JHU Libraries' subscription to Digital Dissertations allows online, full-text access to the complete file of dissertations in digital format starting with titles published in 1997.
