Baltimore City Paper Web http://www.citypaper.com/default.asp Since 1977, BALTIMORE CITY PAPER has worked to give the Baltimore metropolitan area an alternative source of news and opinions on local politics, communities, culture, and the arts. The paper is published every week, and from 1997 is accessible at City Paper Online. The Enoch Pratt Free Library has the current papers at all the branches. The Central Branch has the paper in microfilm back to 1979. There is no index. Baltimore Guide Web http://www.ebguide.com/index.html “The Baltimore Guide” began in 1927 as a Shoppers Guide. Several years later news content was added and then over the years, there have been name changes. Now there are two editions that serve Southeast Baltimore and South Baltimore. They have their own, individual, editorial content, while the two editions share classified, service directory and real estate advertising sections. There has been an online edition since 1997. Enoch Pratt Free Library has microfilm copy of the paper from 2/14/1929-2/8/40,1/10/1957-12/25/69, 1/8/98-12/28/2000. There is no index.
