Gmelin is the inorganic and organometallic counterpart to Beilstein. Both databases have flexible and powerful searching by substance, property, and/or reaction. Eisenhower Library using Crossfire Commander. Look for the SciFinder/Beilstein/Gmelin folder on the computer desktops. ...On Campus To use Beilstein/Gmelin via CrossFire Commander on lab, office, or home computers, you must install the client software from the Minerva Consortium website at the University of Wisconsin. The username and password is available to those affiliated with JHU or JHMI, by contacting one of the science and engineering librarians at the Eisenhower Library.
