Web Browser Compatibility Issues


This page documents compatibility issues when accessing The Sheridan Libraries' Web site with various popular Internet browsers. We are researching solutions to these problems. Our goal is to support all current versions of popular Web browsers; we cannot guarantee that the site will be compatible with older browser versions. The site was designed for versions of Internet Explorer 5.5 and newer for Windows, and we have identified no problems with viewing the site using that browser.

Most of these issues are cosmetic in nature and will not affect function. Some older browser versions, however, may have more serious problems when trying to display the site. The following pages contain more detailed information about compatibility issues with other popular browsers:
