Stephen Dixon: Endings
April 28 - August 31, 2007
Special Collections, A Level, Milton S. Eisenhower Library

Endings have been a continuing motif in Stephen Dixon’s work over the
course of his long career. From bad break-ups to tragic deaths, this
Writing Seminars professor's fiction has repeatedly examined the
terminal. Even Dixon’s structures explore closure.

To commemorate the conclusion of his twenty-six year career at Johns
Hopkins and the donation of his papers to the Milton S. Eisenhower
Library, this exhibition celebrates the career of Stephen Dixon, one of
the country’s most distinguished writers.

The display will run through August 31 and may be viewed Monday-Friday
in the Special Collections department on A-Level.  Hours are from 9 am
to 5 pm Monday through Friday, with extended evening hours until 8 pm on
Thursdays.
